It’s Yankees-Red Sox, Round 2! This time the game is on home turf (Steinbrenner Field in Tampa). Derek Jeter, thanks to his two-out throwing error in the WBC game against Japan, is home early and ready to reclaim shortstop from Ramiro Pena.
As much as I believe in the “I want your best against my best” philosophy, I can’t say that I am too disappointed to see the omission of the names Lowell and Youklis from tonight’s starting lineup.
